  • Added support for ARM64 CPU infrastructure, ensuring full compatibility with modern ARM-based systems and environments.

10.6.27

  • SMS Windows driver has passed Windows Hardware Certification tests (formerly known as WHQL) for all supported OS.
  • SMS 430, 460 and TAG-ID printers always send the operation offset. Because the printer keeps the last used offset, sending the offset ensures a fixed print position, even if a previous job used a different value. Stop on last element option is not selected by default.

10.6.26

  • SMS-430 (300dpi), SMS-TAG-ID2 (300dpi), SMS-460 (600dpi), SMS-TAG-ID3 (600dpi) supports QR code size range with upper limit as 100 instead of 10.
  • The Printer installation wizard properly responds the installation status to the Control Center application.

10.6.24

  • Not Accessible status is now returned when querying for status when printer is not connected.
  • Prninst will no longer show empty list of ports when user asked for port selection.
  • All printers get updated after Windows upgrade and no longer produce errors when opening print preferences dialog.

  • When installing fonts on a Windows system with the German language setting, they were not listed in the Driver Settings under Font Download. This is fixed now.

  • When user creates port with non-English letters in its name, port was not automatically selected. This is fixed now in the installation utility.
  • This is completely new driver release, based on new driver platform V10. The driver was extensively tested with different NiceLabel/Loftware software versions. We suggest that you verify existing labels and solutions before you start using this printer driver in production.
  • Driver Compatibility for SMS-430 & SMS-TAG-ID2: Models sold after March 19, 2025 have firmware V2 or V3 and require the V10 driver. Check the safety label for "V2-128" or "Firmware V2". In Windows, they appear as SMS-430 V2 / SMS-TAG-ID2 V2 when connected via USB. Older models (sold before March 19, 2025) use firmware V1 and require Legacy Driver V5.
